Every three weeks on the Dirtywave M8 Discord, there is a jam challenge where all Discord members are welcome to submit ideas, optional technical /compositional challenges, and ultimately, finished (or in-progress) tracks composed using primarily the Dirtywave M8 handheld tracker.

Original Rules:
Create a song using the M8 (hardware or headless). Any other sounds/samples used must be triggered or sequenced by M8
Submission should be no longer than 4 minutes
Submit your mp3/wav/link/etc to thread #"M8 Jam 009 Submissions" by October 29th 11:59 pm -10 UTC, aka October 30, 2023 4:59 AM. Early submission is okay! (You may additionally share a bundle if you'd like)
I will collect all submitted songs and bundles at the end and share in an upload link. (If you do not want your song/bundle collected, just say so when you submit your song)

Theme: 80s Horror
Optional Challenge: Use two or more of the following challenges:
--Hide a secret message in your song
--Include a sample from a horror film
--Use a trick-or-treat-related audio sample
--Sample a theremin OR emulate a theremin using synthesis
--Adjust tempo with Aux tables (TBX)
--Invent and use your own "xylobones" instrument
--Synth engines only (wavesynth, macrosynth, fm, and hypersynth)
